Combine the first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl. Combine next two ingredients in another bowl. Stir milk mixture into the oat mixture and pour into an 8-inch square baking pan coated with a small amount of canola oil. Top with chopped nuts. Bake for 18 minutes and broil for 1-2 minutes to toast the nuts.
